Commonsense Studio is a multidisciplinary design studio founded in 2017 by Arisa Jarque and Raisa Vargas, both licensed architects in the Philippines.
From concept to architectural design to branded environments, we work on residential, commercial and hospitality projects with a certain curiosity, respect for the elements and common sense in our design solutions.

Common Sense
Common sense is our sixth sense. It influences one’s awareness and sensitivity to every moment, complementing the experience given by the five senses.
Curiosity
Curiosity sparks innovation. By asking the right questions, the solution is framed in a better way. We question what has been done before, test out all our options, to continue to push innovation.
Collaboration
Collaboration is key in all aspects of design. We work to understand the needs of the client and the users in order to produce fresh takes on the design. We also value working with different craftsmen, artists, and designers across different fields, and the unique perspectives they bring to the table.
