This weekend beach house is a straightforward expression of the client’s vision combined with the studio’s ideals for honesty in both form and material. The client requested for two separate volumes for the living and entertainment areas for ease of maintenance wherein the bedrooms can be used independently from the entertainment areas. The living volume contains a kitchenette that provides an alternative option to using the main kitchen for short stays. All spaces open up to the garden, because who needs to be indoors when you have the beach?
