1210 Acacia is an office building in a booming business center in the South of Manila. The design for the common spaces such as the main lobby, elevator lobbies and common toilets on the office floors made us ask questions such as: What type of spaces can provide a break from the mundane office environments? What type of materials will be a refreshing change to the desk or computer screens of the daily office worker? A natural material palette was selected to refresh tired, weary eyes. Apart from this, practical aspects were also taken into consideration, such as ease of maintenance for the building owner and a timeless design that can last decades.
