This corner house is not designed for its owners but with the intention to be rented out to future families. Because it is a corner house, the design of the second floor highlights the corner volume so that it’s most visible and appreciated from the street. The west side of the facade is lined with vertical fins that protect the house from the harsh afternoon sun. Without actually having a particular end-user in mind, the layout was conceived as flexible spaces that evoked tropical living and a sense of openness to each other and to the surroundings.
